Paired with boldly flavored American dishes, the bar offers over 10 craft beers on tap, as well as an extensive collection of bottled brews from around the world. A large communal table offers seating for groups of many sizes, as well a semi-al fresco wooden counter for diners who prefer eating outdoors. Everything at Blue Supreme is well thought out, from the dynamic menu to the creative beer pairings, quickly making it a new favorite for many in the area.

2. Amber Coffee Brewery

Amber Coffee Brewery brings a new energy to the already busy lineup of cafés in Sheung Wan. What makes this place so special is the award-winning barista, Dawn Chan, who is a two-time champion in the Hong Kong Barista Championship and also placed fourth in the World Barista Championship, an impressive feat that is certainly backed up by the quality of the coffee. Offering modern drinks and a great atmosphere, Amber also transforms into a wine bar at night, making it a great meetup spot almost any time of the day.

3. 18 Grams

18 Grams is a small shop that packs a big punch. The menu boasts an extensive list of coffee creations, along with one of the best flat whites in the city. Inside, the dark walnut tables and leather seats create a comfortable, casual and homey vibe. The available counter seats also give patrons a chance to get up-close and personal with the brewing process and watch the baristas in action. A great destination on a hot and humid day, 18 Grams is known for its innovations like the shakerato, shaken iced espresso served up in a martini glass, or the coffee whiskey sour. Started as a small location in Causeway Bay in 2010, 18 Grams is one of the forebears of Hong Kong’s gourmet coffee scene.
